Quick summary
This is the agreement you accept when you place an order with Wavelink. We promise to ship what we list, ship on time, fix anything we get wrong, and never sell your data. You promise to use the card, the stand, and your profile within the law and without harming others.
This agreement
These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") form a binding contract between you ("Customer", "you") and Wavelink (Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority) ("Wavelink", "we", "us", "our"). It governs your use of:
- The Wavelink NFC business cards, Google Review stands and related physical products.
- The Wavelink hosted profile page, accessible from each card or stand by tap.
- The Wavelink web platform at getwaved.ai and any subdomain (the "Platform").
- Any associated mobile experiences, including the Cloudflare Pages Functions powering them.
By placing an order, creating a profile, or tapping a Wavelink card, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform or our products.
This Agreement is written in English. Arabic translations are available on request for GCC customers; in case of conflict, the Arabic version prevails for UAE residents, the English version for everyone else.
Your account
To edit your profile or track an order you create an account using the email used at checkout. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your email address and login link current.
- Every action taken under your account.
- The accuracy of the profile data you publish. Profile data is shared publicly with everyone who taps your card or stand.
If your email is compromised, write to support@getwaved.ai and we will revoke your active session within one business day. We never ask for your password — we never see it.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Cards, stands & profiles
What we deliver. A Wavelink NFC card or stand is a physical product pre-linked to a hosted profile. We design, print, encode and ship the card; we host the profile page; we keep the profile editable for the life of the card.
Profile data. You control what appears on your profile. We host it. We never add advertising, never insert affiliate links, and never modify the data you publish without your instruction.
Compatibility. Our NFC chip works with all NFC-enabled smartphones from 2018 onward. Older phones use the QR code printed on the back of each card. We do not guarantee compatibility with devices we have not tested.
Custom design
For custom-branded cards you provide brand assets (logo, colours). You warrant that you own or have licensed those assets, and that they do not infringe any third-party right, including trademark.
Payment & billing
Pricing is shown in your local currency where our payment provider supports it. Payment is due at order confirmation. We accept the methods listed at checkout.
We do not store your full card number. Payments are processed by a regulated payment processor; the processor's own terms apply.
Taxes & duties
Prices include VAT where required (UAE: TRN-100123456700003). For cross-border shipments, local duties may apply; the customer is responsible for them unless we state otherwise in writing.
Refunds
See the full Refund Policy. In short: 30 days for unopened custom orders, 14 days for ready-made cards.
Intellectual property
Our IP. The Wavelink name, logos, brand mark, card design, platform code, profile templates, and the names of our products are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or replicate them except as expressly permitted.
Your content. You retain ownership of the profile data, branding and any content you upload (your "Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display and transmit your Content solely to operate the Platform for you.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Publish Content that is unlawful in any jurisdiction where the Platform is accessible, including content that violates the UAE Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021).
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Send unsolicited communications ("spam") from the contact methods on your profile.
- Upload viruses, attempt to disrupt the Platform, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside our Responsible Disclosure Policy.
- Scrape, frame, or make automated copies of the Platform.
If you breach this section, we may suspend your account without notice.
Liability & warranties
We commit to
Shipping what we list, on time, in good condition. Hosting your profile reliably. Fixing anything we get wrong, fast.
We do not commit to
That the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times. That tap-to-share will work on every phone ever made. That a third-party carrier will not delay a shipment.
Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law and other applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from this Agreement is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
Termination
By you
You may stop using the Platform at any time. To remove your profile, write to privacy@getwaved.ai; we action the request within 30 days.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk to the Platform.
Effect
Sections that by their nature should survive — Intellectual Property, Liability, Disputes, Privacy — survive termination.
Disputes & governing law
This Agreement is governed by the UAE Civil Code (Federal Law No. 5 of 1985) and, for consumers in the GCC and globally, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of their country of residence.
The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for 30 days. If unresolved, the dispute is submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE.
For consumers: nothing in this section removes your right to bring a claim in your country of residence under that country's consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, email you at the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect.
