Official channels
Wavelink is only ever sold through the channels below. If a seller uses a different channel, treat it as suspicious:
Where we sell
- Website — getwaved.ai and any regional subdomain listed at the bottom of our pages.
- Direct contact — WhatsApp +880 1410 809 023 (BD) and +971 54 361 8066 (UAE).
- Email — orders@getwaved.ai (orders), support@getwaved.ai (help).
- Listed resellers — partners who appear on our Markets page.
We never sell through social media DMs, through unofficial marketplaces, or via crypto-only payments. If a "Wavelink" offer comes through any other channel, it is not from us.
Five checks before you tap
If a card looks unusual, run these five checks. Most fakes fail by check three.
Card finish
Genuine Wavelink cards have a soft, matte feel and a crisp logo. Counterfeits often feel glossy, plasticky, or have pixelated edges.
Back of card
Every genuine card has a QR code on the back, alongside the NFC chip. The QR links to a profile page on getwaved.ai. Scan it before tapping.
Profile URL
After tapping, the browser should land on a page hosted on getwaved.ai. Any other domain — even one that looks similar — is a phishing attempt.
Packaging
Genuine orders ship in our branded mailer. We never send cards loose in a plain envelope.
Receipt
Every order has an order confirmation email from @getwaved.ai. If you cannot find the email, your card did not come from us.
Phishing & fake sites
If a website or email claims to be Wavelink but you are not sure, here is what to check:
- Domain. Domain. Our only domain is getwaved.ai. Variants like getwaved.com, wavelink-cards.net, or hyphenated spellings are not us.
- Email. Email. Our email comes only from @getwaved.ai. Anything else is suspicious.
- HTTPS. HTTPS. Every page on our site is served over HTTPS with a valid certificate. Look for the lock in your browser.
- Spelling & grammar. Spelling & grammar. Phishing pages often have small errors a real Wavelink page would not.
- Urgency. Urgency. "Pay now or your card will be cancelled" is a phishing tactic. We do not use it.
If you are unsure whether a page or message is from us, write to fraud@getwaved.ai before acting.
Suspicious payment requests
Our accepted payment methods are listed at checkout. We do not ask for payment in any other form.
- We never ask for payment by bank transfer to a personal account.
- We never ask for payment in cryptocurrency.
- We never ask for payment via gift cards or mobile balance.
- We never ask you to install software or share a screen.
- We never DM you on social media with an offer to "verify" or "upgrade" your account.
If someone claiming to be Wavelink asks for any of these, it is fraud.
How to report a fake

- The URL or social handle where you saw it
- Seller name and contact details if you have them
- Payment receipts (we will tell you how to share safely)
- Screenshots of messages

If you have already paid
- Stop further payment. Contact your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge.
- Save all evidence — messages, receipts, shipping labels.
- Report to local police and to the cybercrime unit of your country.
- Email us at fraud@getwaved.ai with everything you have.
What we do
When you report a fake or a scam, our brand protection team:
- Investigates within 24 hours.
- Files takedown requests with the relevant platform (marketplace, social media, registrar).
- Coordinates with payment processors to block fraudulent accounts.
- Reports confirmed fraud to the UAE Cybercrime authorities and to INTERPOL's IP Crime unit through our legal counsel.
- Adds confirmed scam patterns to our security monitoring so the same tactic fails on the next attempt.
The law we work with
We coordinate enforcement with these frameworks:
- UAE — UAE Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021). Covers fraud, phishing, identity theft, and online scams. Penalties include fines and imprisonment.
- GCC-wide — the GCC trademark and commercial fraud framework.
- EU — the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and national consumer protection acts.
- Bangladesh — the Digital Security Act 2018 and Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.
- China — the E-Commerce Law of the PRC and Trademark Law.
